About us
Austin Films Company was founded in 2006. After studying film at the New York Film Academy, I created my first film, Reverse the Spread of HIV. Since then, I have continued to create films that are positive, educational, thought-provoking, and culturally meaningful. Austin Films brings life’s most profound moments to the screen by exploring the red zones of struggle, the black zones of loss, and the green zones of triumph.
Through powerful documentaries and real-life narratives, we shed light on societal truths while celebrating authentic cultural stories that resonate across generations. Our commitment to family, health, and education remains at the heart of our films. By illuminating these vital progressions of life, we create films that inspire empathy, encourage reflection, and provoke meaningful conversations. We believe every story has the power to spark change, and we are committed to elevating voices that deserve to be heard while bringing the rich spectrum of the human experience to light.

Spring of 2027
Our next film project is entitled I NO WSP.
It takes place in the inner city on a conservative block where the community is close-knit and full of years of friendships and memories.
Without realizing it, a new experience arrives at their doorstep as the community now faces a new era of inclusion, understanding, and mental and emotional growth brought by the new neighbors.
